Illumination Base by Simon Pearce

If you own a Simon Pearce glass evergreen or you’re giving one this is the piece that makes it glow. Set any smaller handblown design on the low cast-zinc platform and its LEDs light the glass from below, turning a tree, hurricane, or vase into a soft lamp for a windowsill, mantel, or holiday table. It’s rechargeable, so there’s no cord to hide: a built-in timer keeps the light on for six hours and shuts it off automatically, the Large runs about 14 days between charges (the Small about three), and a single button steps through three brightness levels. This season’s LEDs are a cool white tone. It’s the finishing touch we suggest whenever someone’s gifting a glass evergreen and we’re happy to gift wrap the pair together.
