Echo Lake Whiskey by Simon Pearce

A whiskey glass with a story to tell at the table: strands of molten glass are hand-wrapped around the base of each one, echoing Vermont’s rivers frozen in winter, flowing in summer so the glass catches light the way water does. The 8-ounce size suits a neat pour or a single large cube, and the wrapped base gives it a satisfying weight in the hand that machine-made barware can’t match. Because it’s handblown, wash it by hand in warm water with mild soap. It pairs with the Echo Lake decanter and double old-fashioned for a full bar setup, and one or two glasses make a standout gift for the whiskey drinker who has the bottle covered we’re happy to gift wrap them.
